Cecil Jones, a proactive member of the Freetown Society, is also a brilliant musician. His group, Freetown Mix, have offered their sound to many of our events and they really give a sense of Sierra Leone and Western Africa to any location in which they play.
Cecil has written and recorded this song which has been released as a downloadable track. All proceeds from the downloads will be sent directly to Hull based charities working in Freetown. The song carries an important message about the twinning between Hull and Freetown and celebrates the special relationship!
